A Motor Vehicle Record, or MVR, is an official copy of your driving record. The MVR will show the past 3 or 10 years of your driving history.
To protect your privacy, the MVR does not display your address. The Federal Driver Privacy Protection Act prohibits the release of personal identifying information from driver license and vehicle registration records.

* If you want someone else to obtain a copy of your MVR for you, you must submit a notarized statement authorizing that person to obtain the record.

How to get a copy of a traffic citation
To get a copy of a traffic ticket in Tennessee, you must contact the court or clerk of the court in the jurisdiction where the ticket was issued, as they maintain the citation records. If you do not know the jurisdiction the citation will be listed on your MVR.
